My three-year-old asks for this every single night now, and the way the story builds up to the animals' Santa arriving is just magical. She giggles at Big Snowshoe’s gentle teasing of Little Snow, and I love that it’s a longer picture book so we actually get a proper bedtime ritual.
Little Snow’s worry about whether the animals’ Santa would remember him felt so real that my daughter gasped at the turn. The story’s gentle rhythm made it the perfect bedtime read on Christmas Eve, and she asked for it again the next morning.
