The way Anya’s voice shifts as her "friend" takes control gave me actual chills, and the art carries that mood perfectly. The story’s pacing is tight enough that I finished it by bedtime without meaning to.
I tore through this in one sitting, and the way the friendship shifts from creepy to genuinely heartbreaking kept me glued past midnight. The pacing is spot-on, and Anya's voice feels so real you forget you're reading a graphic novel.
The whole "friend from a well" premise sounds weird on paper, but the way Anya's loneliness and the ghost's mystery unfold together kept me hooked until 2 AM. I actually found myself holding my breath during the reveal about what the "Forever" part really means.
