My kid has been completely obsessed with the "case of the missing party" mystery, and the vibrant illustrations on every page really keep her engaged. She loves trying to spot the clues before Agent Lion does, and the story actually has a satisfyingly clever resolution.
This book turned my daughter into a detective, pointing out every clue on the page before I could. We read it three times in a row just to find the "missing" party decorations again. The illustrations of the balloons and cake are so fun and colorful.
My niece was so confused along with Petunia, trying to find where the party went—the mystery kept her glued to every page. The playful repetition and bright illustrations made it a fun little detective story for her age.
