I've been burned before by "signed" copies that turned out to be a bookplate, so getting an actual signature on the title page was a relief. The duology setup has me hooked already and I'm annoyed I have to wait for book two.

The signed title page makes this feel way more special than a standard copy, and the sprayed edges are gorgeous in person. I stayed up until 2am finishing it — the heist setup with the tea shop had me hooked from chapter three.

Didn't expect the signature to be on the actual title page rather than a bookplate, which was a nice surprise for a signed edition. The sprayed edges on this one are gorgeous too, and the orphan-and-tea-shop setup pulled me in faster than I expected.
