My kid has read this three times already, picking different paths to try beating the sea monster. The interactive format actually works in graphic novel form, which I wasn't sure about. Getting the signed edition was a nice bonus for the shelf.
The signed bookplate on the inside cover made it feel like a real collector's item, and my son loved that the author's signature was right there before he even started reading. The choose-your-path format kept him flipping back to try different endings against the sea monster.
