The signed bookplate was a lovely touch, and the Caribbean folklore feels so vivid it’s like the sea is whispering through every page. I finished it in two sittings, completely pulled in by the grieving girl’s journey. This one’s staying on my shelf for a reread.
The mermaid folklore is woven in so beautifully that I found myself slowing down just to savor the prose. The signed bookplate arrived in perfect condition, and it’s a nice keepsake to have while I read.
