My kid laughed out loud at the rhyming story, and the flip-it-over surprise at the end is a genius touch—it’s basically two books in one. Even after a dozen reads, he still asks to lift every flap again.

The lift-the-flap design kept my toddler engaged for a solid twenty minutes, and the rhyming text made it easy to read aloud without getting bored. Flipping the book over for the second activity was a nice surprise that added extra value.
