The blue textured cloth covers with the pictorial stamping are even more striking in person, and Marc Simont's illustrations inside are crisp and charming. This copy arrived in far better shape than I expected for a book from 1950, and the pages are clean with no musty smell at all.

The red cloth spine with black stamping looks fantastic on the shelf, and the pictorial stamping on the covers really gives it that vintage 1950s charm. This copy arrived in solid shape for its age, pages clean and binding tight, a nice find for any Thurber collector.
