My niece is obsessed with cars so I got her this, and the story about saying goodbye to the family car named Bob hit way harder than I expected. The illustrations by Jonathan Nelson are gorgeous, and having the author's signature on the bookplate made it feel extra special as a gift.

The signed bookplate inside the cover made this feel so much more personal than a regular copy. My daughter is Wichita, and watching her see a character say goodbye to a family car named Bob hit close to home for us. The illustrations by a Diné artist are gorgeous too.
