Zed being cut off from Brock after the betrayal had me stressed the whole middle section, and the signed title page made it feel like a keeper rather than a library borrow. Easily my favorite of the series so far.
The signed copy arrived with the author's signature right there on the title page, which made it worth the wait. I stayed up way too late finishing the betrayal arc — Zed being isolated from everyone hit harder than I expected.
Zed getting cut off from Brock had me genuinely stressed for a whole chapter. The signed title page made it feel like a keeper rather than just another paperback on the shelf.
