The boarding school atmosphere is so vividly drawn that I felt like I was sneaking through the hallways alongside the protagonist. This one’s going to stay with me for a while, and the signed copy makes it feel extra special.
The signature on the title page is crisp and dark, exactly what I hoped for when I ordered a signed edition. I’m already 50 pages in and the Mississippi-to-New-England contrast makes the protagonist’s loneliness feel so real.
