My kid laughed out loud at the rhyming story, and the flip-it-over surprise at the end is a genius touch—it’s basically two books in one. Even after a dozen reads, he still asks to lift every flap again.

The lift-the-flap design kept my toddler engaged for a solid twenty minutes, and the rhyming text made it easy to read aloud without getting bored. Flipping the book over for the second activity was a nice surprise that added extra value.

My kid went from scattering the flaps to actually pointing at the letters—the rhyming text makes it stick, and flipping it over for the second play side doubles the fun.
