The way this volume balances Apollo's swagger with his lesser-known vulnerable side really hooked me, and the artwork during his sun-chariot scenes just glows off the page. It’s probably my favorite entry in the series so far.
I’ve read a lot of mythology retellings, but this one really digs into Apollo’s personality beyond the whole sun-god thing, and the artwork in this 8th volume is stunningly detailed. It’s a quick read but packs in plenty of depth, and it’s easily my favorite of the series so far.
The way Apollo’s story balances his godly confidence with his more relatable, flawed moments really hooked me, and the character dialogue feels surprisingly fresh for a series this deep in. I finished it in one sitting, and the fast pacing made me forget I was reading a graphic novel about mythology
