I didn't realize this was a Newbery Honor book when I ordered it, so that was a nice surprise on top of the signed bookplate. The way Lipan stories weave into Nina's world pulled me in faster than anything I've read this year.

Didn't expect the bookplate to be an actual signature rather than a printed sticker, which made it feel like a real keepsake. The story itself pulled me in fast, especially Oli's chapters.

I’ve been waiting to add this Newbery Honor title to my shelf, and the signed bookplate makes it feel extra special. Oli’s cottonmouth perspective hooked me from the first chapter, and the story’s blend of worlds is exactly as magical as I hoped.
